About:
The Illuminati came about as a product of my interests in two not necessarily related fields. The first is text setting, or more generally, how to put words and music together. The second is music concrete, or what it has become since the advent of digital control and recording. All of the sounds on the tape are of a piano, resonating to the voice of a singer. All of the material for the vocalist is a short excerpt from the Book of Revelation. There is no attempt to render this text literally. In fact, it was chosen only after having worked with the process in the studio that the text more or less, suggested itself.
