This piece was originally commissioned by Jeffery Krieger, and was designed for him to take on tour with his road equipment in the mid 1990’s. In essence, it was a trio meant for one human, and two superhuman techno-sampled-cellists. A few years ago, I began the collaboration with Ashley Bathgate to take these techno parts and turn them into something a human might be able to play. What we came up with are multiple tracks of Ashley that taken together are quite superhuman anyway.
